The photo above shows a piled link channel between an existing marine to a newly constructed marine extension. The channel allows a passage for narrow boats whilst still allowing road traffic to drive around the marine using the newly constructed swing bridge. The link channel took 3-4 weeks to complete. It is located on The Kennet and Avon Canal near Aldermaston.
